Frequently asked questions

Good questions deserve clear answers.

Here is what to know before you explore treatment. Exact program details remain available in the treatment portal.
Do I need a prescription?+

Yes. Prescription treatments require evaluation by a licensed clinician and are prescribed only when medically appropriate.

Where do I see current treatments and prices?+

Our treatment portal contains the current treatment options, program details and pricing. This site focuses on helping you understand the available categories and care process.

Are compounded medications FDA-approved?+

Compounded medications are prepared by licensed pharmacies for an individual patient based on a clinician’s prescription. They are not FDA-approved as finished drug products.

Will I need lab work?+

It depends on the treatment. Some programs require lab work before treatment or at defined points during care. Your treatment page and clinical team will explain any requirements.

How is medication shipped?+

When treatment is prescribed, the fulfilling pharmacy ships it directly to the address you provide. Shipping details and timing appear in your order.

Can I cancel?+

Subscription, pause and cancellation terms are shown with each treatment and during checkout. Review the current program terms in the treatment portal before purchasing.

Where do I manage my care?+

Use the Sign In option in the treatment portal to access the Utah Metabolic Health portal, including messages, orders and documents.

Who should I contact for help?+
